My Pilates Journey
Dancers and dance in all its forms have always fascinated me, and my love for graceful, fluid and controlled movements started from a very young age. Pilates was an all-in-one obvious choice when it came to adopt a physical activity that I would keep doing, regardless of my age and abilities. The awareness I experienced, physically and mentally, through my regular practice was magical. Being in tune with yourself is such an uplifting and empowering feeling; Pilates has shown me even more of the real Melissa and can do the same for you.
Practicing and teaching Pilates has given me the ability to see and approach life and people differently.
It has been an intense but very satisfying journey, which is far from being over and which I am thrilled to share with you!
My Pilates Practice
Four words encapsulate my approach: precise, adaptable, straightforward and FUN!
My classes, in English or French, are thorough and take into consideration your needs and goals. You might be looking to improve your posture, rehabilitate an injury, stay healthy during pregnancy or improve your general fitness and physical performance. I can help you in all of these endeavours and more!
I like my clients to feel relaxed, happy and that they are in good hands, whether online, in the comfort of their home or in a studio environment working out with other Pilates lovers.
My students are the best people to ask about my teaching style and skills. Read what they have to say about Pilates with Melissa in my reviews section.
